Movie Story: Dom and the crew must take on an international terrorist who turns out to be Dom and Mia’s estranged brother.
The plot broadly includes the male protagonist reuniting together with his staff to scuttle an evil conspiracy and smash every little thing of their method to shards. Daniel Casey and returning director Justin Lin’s screenplay by no means veers away from components. It conjures up gravity-defying stunts and electromagnetic mayhem that, within the pursuit of thrills, inevitably falls prey to the regulation of diminishing returns.
Dominic and Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) are dragged out of a lifetime of “peace and quiet” by their former mates. The mission is new, the tropes are previous. The movie takes them actually off the street and (within the case of a few the combatants) into outer house.
The motion is unabashedly bonkers – automobiles drive by way of exploding landmines and over precipitous cliffs and sometimes come out in a single piece -and the fraternal animosity round which the plot is constructed is overly contrived.
